I finally was walking the Malecon a few nights ago and I had the letters to myself long enough to get a photo without people in the way. All my day and evening walks had too many people waiting to take photos with the letters. Without question, this is the most photographed spot in Puerto Vallarta. This night I was lucky - I decided to walk on a night that was raining. Alot. But no worries I had my umbrella. And soaking wet shoes.
The new letters bring a fresh and updated paint job featuring the original style of PV's most famous artist Manuel Lepe. Manuel Lepe passed more than 2 decades ago but his painting style lives on.
He had a long-time home in El Tuito and Studio which I visited a few days ago for the (manyith) time. It is always a treat. The gallery that occupies his home is called Coppelia. Don't miss it if you are in El Tuito.
If you want to visit and not sure how. You may join me on one of two of our tours that will take you to El Tuito. One is a lot of walking, and we take the public bus from Vallarta to El Tuito. The other tour we drive and visit the Botanical Gardens and El Tuito.
We would love to have you and show you many interesting things.
Enjoy the new PV Letters!
